The “Gypsy King” received two cuts in a fight with Francis Ngannou
Fight for the title of absolute world champion between the holder of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO titles Alexander Usik and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will take place in February 2024. The boxing evening will take place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
The fight was scheduled for December 23, but the “Gypsy King” will not have time to prepare by this time. It is reported that Fury suffered two cuts in his last fight with former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
The contract for the fight for the absolute heavyweight title between Usik and Fury contains a rematch clause. The clause applies to both boxers; the loser can initiate a re-fight.
