Athletistic / Others. The three finalists for the National Sports Prize in the “Sportswoman of the Year” category have made themselves known. Among the strongest athletes of 2023 are European rhythmic gymnastics champion Lala Kramarenko, Olympic artistic gymnastics champion Victoria Listunova and European swimming champion Evgenia Chikunova.

As TASS reports, citing the organizers, the winners of the award will be announced at a ceremony to be held on November 30 at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

The National Sports Prize was established by the Government of the Russian Federation in 2010. The country’s Ministry of Sports selects the best athletes together with fans and experts. The winner receives 1 million rubles.

It is worth noting that in 2022, Olympic figure skating champion Anna Shcherbakova won the National Sports Award in the Athlete of the Year category.
