Former head coach of the Russian national football team Leonid Slutsky shared his emotions after recording an interview with honored Russian figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze. Their conversation was broadcast the day before, November 1, as part of the YouTube project “Comment.Trainer”.
“My pinnacle as an interviewer. Eteri Georgievna, you are great both as an amazing coach and as an amazing person! I’m proud to know you!” — wrote Slutsky on his social media page.
It was Eteri Tutberidze’s students who won victories in figure skating at the last two Winter Olympics. At the 2018 Games in Pyeongchang (South Korea), victory went to Kamila Valieva, and at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing (China), gold went to Anna Shcherbakova.
