Ukrainian volleyball player Oleg Plotnitsky together with Perugia became the winner Italian Super Cup 2023.
In the final, the Ukrainian team beat Lube Civitanova. Perugia lost the first two sets, but managed to snatch victory in the next three games.
Plotnitsky won his first trophy in the new season and his sixth during his performances in Perugia. The Ukrainian team won its fifth Italian Super Cup.
Perugia won the regular season of the Italian Championship last season, but were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. Plotnitsky’s team started the new season with two victories in two matches.
