Russian cyclists’ coach Alexander Kuznetsov said he was committed to his athletes’ performance at January’s European Championships in Apeldoorn, Netherlands.
The International Cycling Union (UCI) allows individual Russians to benefit from neutral status.
– We should be there. We have sent letters to the UCI and the UEC, there has been no refusal yet, we are working in this direction. Almost all of our guys who hope to play there are neutral. We want to participate as much as possible.
— What are your impressions of the World Championships in Colombia?
– We played well. There was absolutely no problem, neither in the way we were received, nor in the course of the competition itself. “Everything went perfectly,” Kuznetsov told .
