Ukrainian athletes will win 18 awards, of which 2 are gold
Ukraine will win 18 awards and will take place in top 15 medal standings summer Olympic Games 2024 in Paris according to the forecast of the famous analytical company Gracenote.
Ukrainian Olympians are expected to win two gold, seven silver and nine bronze medals. Let us remind you that at the 2020 Games in Tokyo, the Ukrainian team had 19 awards (1+6+12) and 44th position in the overall standings.
According to Gracenote’s calculations, the medal standings for the 2024 Games in Paris will be won by the United States, which can count on 127 awards, of which 38 are gold. Second place will be taken by China (75 medals), third – Great Britain (65). Also in the top 5 will be Japan (56) and France (53).
Let us note that the experts did not include Russia and Belarus in the list, which are currently suspended from international competitions due to the full-scale invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine.
The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11.
