European Aquatics has canceled the European Water Polo Championships which would take place in Israel in January

European Aquatics said it was forced to cancel the European Water Polo Championships which will take place in Israel in January.

The decision was made following meetings between European Aquatics and the Israeli Water Polo Association.

“Both organizations agreed that it was impossible to organize the European Water Polo Championships in Netanya, as planned, in January 2024,” reports the press service of European Aquatics.

Various options are currently being explored regarding qualification for the FINA World Championships in Doha.
