Volleyball world champion Vetrova left Dynamo-Ak Bars

Kazan volleyball club binder “Dynamo-Ak Bars” Vera Vetrova leaves the team after the 2021/22 season, the team’s press service reports.

The 35-year-old volleyball player has been playing for the team since 2021. She is the 4-time champion of Russia, 4 times Vetrova won the country’s Cup, and once – the Super Cup.

– Of course, the season as a whole didn’t go as originally planned. But there is nothing to complain about the work of Vera Vetrova, her dedication and her constant commitment to the fight. We are grateful for his contribution to the game of our team, for his strong emotions and his invaluable experience! And we remember that Vera won her first league title with Dynamo Kazan in 2011. Last season, Vetrova won the Russian Cup as part of Dynamo-Ak Bars, but in the championship she became only 4th with the team.

Volleyball player in 2010 as part of the Russian national team won the world championship in Japan. In addition, she participated in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where the Russians lost to Serbia in the quarterfinals (0:3).
