— We traveled together across America and Europe. We were together for decades in all competitions. We were very friendly and when I faced the singles player, I was very nervous, she told me: “Don’t worry, you will succeed, you will win. She was a true coach, a professional in her field, and trained a whole galaxy of champions. A beautiful and strong woman. Every year, she welcomed single skating champions to her country. My condolences go out to her daughter Gabi Seifert, whom we loved and raised as a person and as an exceptional figure skater. The world of figure skating will never forget him,” Tarasova told .
In 2004, Muller was inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame.
