russian athlete Maria Lasitskene on the air of the program Loud on the channel, she expressed herself on the open letter which she addressed to the President of the IOC Thomas Bach .
Earlier, published a letter from Lasitskene to Bach, in which it condemned the IOC chief for lacking the courage and dignity to remove restrictions on Russian athletes.
– Bach’s comments are a bit hypocritical, they are wrong about what is happening. He says one thing, but as a result, Russians do not participate in international competitions. It seems like a person should protect the Olympic movement, but that’s not happening.
Sport must federate, give love, but it has become hard, even harder than it was. I understand all parties, I am a peace-loving person, I can forgive everyone and take a stand, but no one accepts our position, athletes, – said Lasitskene.
