Athletistic/ Figure skating. The IOC press service reported that Russian coach Eteri Tutberidze offered to test everyone involved in Kamila Valieva’s doping case with a lie detector.
“The IOC is not changing its mind. We must quickly make a decision that all interested parties are waiting for,” TASS quotes the IOC press release.
Currently, the proceedings in the Valieva case are ongoing. Kamila was accused of doping during the 2022 Olympics. Then the athlete in single skating became 4th. Anna Shcherbakova won gold and Alexandra Trusova took silver.
Valieva is the 2022 European figure skating champion. Now Russian skaters are suspended from international competitions.
Earlier, Tutberidze said that she considers Valieva a truly unique athlete.
