Athletistic/Others. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) noted that Russia’s attempt to link its disqualification to the situation of Israeli athletes during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was inappropriate.
The IOC representative spoke about the participation of Israeli athletes in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and possible restrictions from other countries in connection with the current conflict.
He stressed that the situation with Russia is unique and cannot be compared with other conflicts in the world.
