Zarya missed out on victory in the match with Veres
Trainer Zari Valery Kriventsov summed up the match with Veres (2:2) in the 13th round of the UPL. The Lugansk team took the lead twice, but lost the victory at the end of the match.
“We prepared very seriously for this meeting. And the team did everything possible to win. With the score 2:1 in our favor, we had good chances to close out this game. We should have scored the third and fourth goals. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way.”
“We have a very young team, we lacked skill and the right decisions in the final stage of the attack. And again we are haunted by bad luck: two hits, a rebound, two missed goals and a draw.”
“Regarding the lack of replacements, that was my coaching decision.”
Zorya is in 13th place in the UPL standings. On November 9, Kriventsov’s team will play in the Conference League with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
