“FINA’s policy seeks gender equality.” Brusnikina on the proposal to allow men to compete in synchronized swimming at the Olympics

First Vice-President of the Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation Olga Brusnikina appreciated the proposal of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) to include the men’s solo in the program of the World Championships and to add the participation of men in the group competitions at the Olympic Games.

– FINA’s policy aims for gender equality, which is stated in the Olympic charter and FINA wants mixed pairs to be on the program of the Olympic Games. I also link the proposals for men’s participation in the Olympic Games to this.
