Vitaly lost to Austrian Ofner in three sets
The first racket of Ukraine Vitaly Sachko failed to qualify for the second round of the tournament ATP 250 in Bulgarian Sofia.
In a dramatic confrontation, the Ukrainian tennis player lost to the seventh seeded Sebastian Ofner from Austria. The match lasted almost two hours.
The fate of the first set was determined by the seventh game, in which Ofner managed to make a break point. In the second game, Vitaly took confident revenge with a score of 6:3. But in the third set the Austrian, representing the top 50 in the world rankings, was stronger.
Let us remind you that for Sachko this was only the fourth participation in his career (and second this year) in the main draw of an ATP series tournament. The Ukrainian made it there, beating Turk Altug Djelikbilek and Bosnian Nerman Fatić in qualifying.
