The Ukrainian lost to Maximilian Neukrist from Austria in two sets

Ukrainian tennis player Alexey Krutykh lost in the first round of the tournament ATP Challenger 125 V Helsinki.

Krutykh lost in a tense fight to another qualifier Maximilian Neukrist from Austria. The two-set match lasted two hours.

In the first game, the winner was determined by tiebreaker. Alexey missed four set points and lost. In the second set, the Ukrainian fought back breaks twice, but in the end the Austrian managed to take someone else’s serve again in the 12th game.

Krutykh made it to the main draw of the tournament in Helsinki through qualification. In the first match, Alexey defeated the Finnish tennis player Leevi Saatela, and then beat the Italian Stefano Travaglia.
