Irina Dubitskaya and Yulia Forsyuk scored for the blue-yellow team
Ukrainian women’s futsal team beat Slovenia in the first sparring – 2:1. The control match took place in the Slovenian city of Kidrichevo.
The teams did not score goals in the first half. The Ukrainians had the advantage and made more shots, the Slovenians responded by hitting the post.
At the beginning of the second half, Irina Dubitskaya brought the blue-yellows ahead. Slovenia was able to get even, after a throw-out the ball ricocheted off the back of Ksenia Burlachenko and flew into the goal. In the last minutes, Ukraine snatched victory – Yulia Forsyuk completed Burlachenko’s pass.
Oleg Shaitanov’s team will also hold a second sparring with Slovenia. The test match will take place on November 8 in the city of Podcetrtek.
