Ivan Petkov’s team lost in three sets
Prometheus lost Volero Le Cannet in the first round Women’s Volleyball Champions League – 0:3.
The French team had the advantage most of the time. Only at the beginning of the second and third sets did Prometheus manage to briefly take the lead. After this, Le Cannet seized the initiative and brought the game to victory.
Ivan Petkov’s team will play the next match against Lodz. The “home” match for the Ukrainian women will take place in the Romanian city of Mioveni on November 15.
The group winner will directly advance to the quarter finals of the Champions League. The second teams of all five groups, as well as the best among the third places, will compete for three more tickets to the quarterfinals. Four more teams that took third place will continue to compete in the quarterfinals of the CEV Cup.
