France has submitted a bid to host the 2030 Winter Olympics

Next year the Summer Olympics will be held in Paris

French National Olympic Committee published an appeal with an official application for holding Olympic Games 2030.

France plans to use the infrastructure from Nice to Haute-Savoie. It is noted that for the 2030 Olympics, only 5% of all facilities that will host the tournament will be built – the rest of the facilities have already been put into operation.

France’s competitors include Utah’s capital, Salt Lake City, from the United States, as well as bids from Stockholm, Sweden, and Switzerland. Lvov also planned to submit its application in 2019.

Let us remind you that the 2026 Winter Olympics will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. In total, 2,900 athletes will take part in the 2026 Olympics, competing for 116 sets of medals.
