YouTube blogger continues his difficult path to the top of professional boxing
Famous YouTube blogger Jake Paul will enter the boxing ring again on December 15th. His opponent will be a professional boxer Andre August (10-1-1, 5 KOs).
The eight-round cruiserweight fight will take place in Orlando (Florida, USA). The undercard also features a women’s bout between Shadacia Green and Franchon Crews-Dezurn.
“I’m a professional boxer and I want to become a world champion, so I need to go on the path to greatness against people who have been boxing their whole lives. So far my entire boxing career has been pay-per-view, but now it’s more than just a business. Now I want to build up my experience in the ring against experienced fighters,” Paul said.
26-year-old Jake Paul is the brother of the equally famous blogger, wrestler and boxer Logan Paul. Jake has been competing in boxing matches since 2020 and has currently achieved a record of 7-1, 4 KOs.
Paul Jr. suffered his only defeat in February 2023 from Tommy Fury – the brother of the “Gypsy King” won by split decision.
In August, Jake won his seventh victory in boxing, defeating ex-UFC fighter Nate Diaz by unanimous decision.
