Recall that the CAS is examining Valieva’s case for alleged violation of anti-doping rules. The Russian is suspected of having used trimetazidine, a banned drug, which was discovered during her doping test on December 25, 2021. The first hearings took place from September 26 to 28, but the CAS then decided to resume them on November 9 and 10 due to the need to provide additional documents.
