Athletistic/Figure skating. European women’s individual skating champion and Olympic team champion Kamila Valieva will appear again before the arbitrators of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne. According to TASS, the skater’s audition is scheduled for Thursday, November 9, and two days later she will take part in the 4th stage of the Kazan Grand Prix “Idel-2023”.

“Camila will be heard again by the CAS arbitrators today, after which she will go to the tournament in Kazan,” underlined a source close to the matter.

Recall that the CAS is examining Valieva’s case for alleged violation of anti-doping rules. The Russian is suspected of having used trimetazidine, a banned drug, which was discovered during her doping test on December 25, 2021. The first hearings took place from September 26 to 28, but the CAS then decided to resume them on November 9 and 10 due to the need to provide additional documents.
