The official served as deputy minister in the cabinet of Vadim Gutzeit
Matvey Bedny appointed Acting Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
Bedny has been a deputy minister in the cabinet of Vadim Gutzeit since July 2020. Before that, he worked as director of the department of physical culture and non-Olympic sports of the Ministry of Sports of Ukraine.
Let us remind you that the Verkhovna Rada voted to release Vadim Gutzeit from his duties as Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. The functionary will focus on work in the National Olympic Committee, of which he is president.
Gutzeit has served as Minister of Youth and Sports since March 2020. The other day, Vadim submitted a letter of resignation from his position in the Cabinet of Ministers, after which he announced “manipulations regarding the combination of the positions of the Minister of Sports and the head of the NOC of Ukraine.”
