The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) and the Russian Skating Union (SKR) have withdrawn the complaint filed with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the decision of the International Skating Union (ISU).
The CAS officially announced the filing of the complaint in April 2022.
“The proceedings in the case of the Russian Skating Union, the Russian Figure Skating Federation, Semyon Elistratov, Angelina Golikova, Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov against the International Skating Union (ISU) have been terminated, the applicants having withdrawn their appeal, “” reported the press service of the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Russian speed skaters, short track skaters and figure skaters have been suspended from competitions under the auspices of the ISU due to the situation in Ukraine.
