Prize money amounting to 400,000 rubles will be paid out if a world record is set at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship, the All-Russian Swimming Federation told .
The Russian Short Course Swimming Championship begins on November 20 in St. Petersburg. 400,000 will be paid for a record in an individual distance, for a world record in a relay race – 800,000 rubles.
For the European record, the prize money is 162.5 thousand rubles and 325 thousand rubles, respectively.
