Jorginho, Chiesa, Politano and Zaniolo are in the Italian national team’s squad for the matches with North Macedonia and Ukraine

Spalletti will do without Mancini, Pellegrini and Immobile

Italy national team announced the application for the final qualifying matches Euro 2024 against North Macedonia And Ukraine.

Luciano Spalletti called up a total of 29 players. Among the players who did not participate in the team’s October matches are Alessandro Buongiorno, Davide Calabria, Andrea Cambiaso, Rafael Toloi, Andrea Colpani, Jorginho, Federico Chiesa, Matteo Politano and Nicolo Zaniolo.

At the same time, 23-year-old Cambiaso (Juventus) and 24-year-old Colpani (Monza) received a call to the national team for the first time.

Injured players Lorenzo Pellegrini and Mattia Zaccagni are absent. Also not called up is Ciro Immobile, Squadra Azzurra’s top scorer in the current convocation.

The Italian national team in qualifying group C (England from there has already qualified for the Euro ahead of schedule) is three points behind second-placed Ukraine, having a match in hand. For second place in the remaining matches, with North Macedonia at home and Ukraine in Leverkusen, Luciano Spalletti’s team needs to take four points.
