The Rossoneri squandered a two-goal lead
Milan sensationally lost points in a game with Lecce within 12th round of Serie A – 2:2.
The Rossoneri confidently won the first half – Giroud and Reynders scored. However, the hosts managed to bring the match to a draw thanks to goals from Sansone and Banda.
In injury time, the visitors remained in the minority after Giroud was sent off. Lecce took advantage of the numerical advantage (Piccoli scored), but the VAR system canceled the Milan goal.
Milan failed to win in the fourth round in a row. At the same time, Stefano Pioli’s team continues to occupy third place in Serie A. Lecce is in 11th position.
In the next round, Milan will host Fiorentina on November 25. Lecce will play Verona two days later.
