All semi-finalists of the Russian Volleyball Cup among men’s teams have become known.
In the second leg of the quarter-finals on Saturday, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk beat Belgorod Belogorye with a score of 3-1 (27:25, 25:22, 19:25, 25:21). In the first match, the Novosibirsk team was also stronger – 3-0 and qualified for the next round.
In another return match in the quarterfinals, Zenit St. Petersburg defeated Novy Urengoy Fakel with a score of 3-0 (25:20, 25:22, 32:30). During the first meeting, the “bleu-blanc-bleu” won with a score of 3-2.
“Zenith” from Kazan beat Yenisei from Krasnoyarsk in two matches. On Saturday, the Kazan team won at home with a score of 3-1, the first match ended with the same score in favor of Zenit.
Dynamo Moscow turned out to be stronger than Kemerovo Kuzbass – 3-0 (the first match was a victory for the Blue and White with a score of 3-1).
In the semifinals of the tournament, Lokomotiv will meet Zenit Kazan, and Zenit Saint Petersburg will play Dynamo.
