The Ukrainian club lost in four games – 1:3
SK Prometheus in the second qualifying stage of volleyball Champions League yielded to the Greek Olympiacos – 1:3.
Prometheus managed to take only the second game – 25:21. All other sets were dominated by the guests, which resulted in the final score of the meeting.
At the start of the second stage, Prometheus lost to Arcade (0:3). Thus, the Ukrainian team lost its chances of reaching the next round of the Champions League. The winners of the two qualifying quartets, as well as the best of the second-place teams, will advance to the group stage of the Champions League.
Tomorrow, November 12, the Ukrainian team will fight with the Bulgarian Neftekhimik. The start of the meeting is scheduled for 15:00 Kyiv time.
Let us remind you that earlier Prometheus successfully overcame the first stage of qualifying for the most prestigious European Cup, beating the Austrian Tyrol (3:1), the Finnish ValePa (3:2) and the Dutch Dynamo Apeldoorn (3:2).
