The new company operates under the command of Denis Perch, co-founder and vice-president of the Ukrainian Federation of MAA (UFMAA), who has been defending Ukraine as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the first days of the invasion
The name “FAVORITE” was given to the updated unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, specializing in conducting reconnaissance and strike missions using drones. “RUBAK”, that is, a company of attack unmanned aerial systems, included experienced warriors and pilots from among representatives of martial arts and other sports.
The new company operates under the command Denis Perch – co-founder and vice-president of the Ukrainian Federation MAA (UFMAA), vice-president of the professional league of mixed martial arts WWFC, which has been defending Ukraine as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the first days of the invasion. Most of the FAVORIT warriors are his friends, as well as athletes and coaches.
“We have very close and friendly relations; I have known many of my brothers for many years. This helps on the battlefield because we work as one mechanism. Now we are constantly moving around the country, strengthening the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and TRO at the hottest spots”says Denis.
The unit’s fighters are united not only by their passion for sports, but also by their professional knowledge of military affairs, which they received through regular training and while performing complex tasks in different sectors of the front.
According to the commander, the company included exclusively well-trained and motivated specialists with real combat experience: “The fighters in my unit are truly high-level professionals. Bringing everyone together took some effort, but this is an important step for our victory. I am grateful to the command that I had the honor of leading this unit. We have already worked with many guys together. “Everyone here is united by one goal – to destroy the enemy more and bring victory closer.”
By the time “FAVORITE” was created, Denis served in a reconnaissance company, where he rose from scout to commander. In September 2022, fighters under his leadership took part in the counteroffensive in the Kharkov region and carried out combat missions in the Bakhmut and Liman directions.
Despite his dedication to military affairs, Denis does not leave the sport and continues to be involved in the development of MMA in Ukraine. Thanks to the efforts of UFMMA, Ukrainian fighters regularly take high places in international tournaments, and the WWFC league is in the top 10 of the ranking of more than 400 professional leagues, which is now topped by the UFC.
Providing the unit with everything necessary to carry out combat missions on the front line, including the purchase of drones, will be supported by patrons.
