– Of course, there was a choice. I spoke with Egor Vladimirovich and Yuri Viktorovich Borodavko, they told me about their methods and how they planned to work with me. As the season progressed, I myself observed which of the athletes trained, how they got in shape.
Everyone knows that Sorin has a more European approach to work, while Borodavko adheres to more conservative views characteristic of the older generation of coaches. In fact, the choice was difficult. “I even talked to Elena Valeryevna Vyalbe,” Korostelev said in an interview with RT.
Before the start of pre-season training, 19-year-old Korostelev joined Sorin’s group.
