The Ukrainian beat her opponent from the top 100, fourth seeded Errani
Ukrainian tennis player Yulia Starodubtseva successfully started in the main draw of the tournament WTA 250 in the Chilean city of Colina.
The Ukrainian turned out to be stronger than the former fifth racket of the world in two sets Sarah Errani from Italy, seeded fourth at the tournament.
In the first set, Starodubtseva won a convincing victory – 6:1. The second game was much more difficult for her. With the score 5:4, Errani missed three set points on her serve. The Ukrainian tennis player was stronger in the tiebreaker – 7:1.
For Starodubtseva, the competition in Kolin became the second in the main draw at the WTA 125 level.
