Tyumen announced that the decision to postpone the stage of the Russian Cup in cross-country skiing could be made next week.

Andrey Kaiser, Deputy Director of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Additional Education of the Tyumen Region, told that the decision to move the second stage of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Cup from Tyumen would be taken early next week.

On Tuesday, Elena Vyalbe, president of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR), told that there are currently no plans to move the second stage of the Russian Cup from Tyumen, despite the warm weather. In Tyumen, day and night, the temperature ranges from +2 to +5 degrees Celsius.

The Russian Cup stage in Tyumen is scheduled to take place from December 1 to 3. The first stage of the competition will be organized at Top of Töi from November 23 to 26.
