The Ukrainian began to receive playing time in the Premier League
Head coach Brentford Thomas Frank spoke positively about working with the Ukrainian midfielder Egor Yarmolyuk.
“He’s doing better and better. He has trained well over the last 5-6 weeks and has shown that he should be part of this team.”
“He deserved to play against Burnley, Chelsea, West Ham and Liverpool. Egor is growing, I am very pleased with what I see. We have great faith in Yegor.”
In the summer, Yarmolyuk extended his contract with Brentford until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend for another season. The midfielder was previously promoted to the Bees’ first team.
In November 2022, Yarmolyuk made his debut for the Bees first team, coming on as a substitute in the English League Cup round of 16 match against Gillingham.
Since the end of October, the midfielder has received at least 15 minutes of playing time in the Premier League. In total, Yarmolyuk appeared in five matches for Brentford, playing a total of 136 minutes.
Brentford are in 11th place in the Premier League standings. On November 25, Frank’s team will play against the Arsenal of Ukrainian Alexander Zinchenko.
