Wilder: Me vs Joshua is the biggest fight in the world, it’s bigger than Usyk

Deontay believes that a joint boxing evening will bring a future fight with Anthony closer

Former World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder stated that his potential fight with the ex-champion Anthony Joshua will be the biggest event in the boxing world.

“Everything is leading up to this. It’s been a long time, and finally, for everyone, for the whole world, this fight can happen.”

“This is the biggest fight in the world. “This is bigger than Usyk, there is no more significant fight in the world, no matter what type of martial arts it is.”

“Me versus Joshua is what people were talking about, that’s what the fans were going after me and him for. And people will finally see it.”

Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua will hold a joint boxing evening on December 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Deontay will fight Joseph Parker, and AJ will fight Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin. The event is expected to bring closer the conclusion of a contract for the fight between the two former champions.

Joshua knocked out Robert Helenius in his last fight, which took place on August 12 in London. Wilder’s last opponent was also Helenius – the American won by knockout in the first round.
