Athletistic/ Artistic gymnastics. Olympic champion, three-time world champion, Russian gymnast Arthur Dalaloyan shared his opinion on the possible participation of Russian athletes in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France). He admitted that he felt offended by the exclusion of Russian gymnasts from international competitions.
“The International Federation has not yet given us a table of the new selection criteria. I only know that there is total indignation there. But this issue will be resolved. For the moment, I will refrain from any comments.
I really don’t want to imagine that the Olympics could take place without Russian artistic gymnastics. But nothing depends on us. Our job is to work. Of course, it is insulting and unfair that we do not have the opportunity to break records and write our name in the history of sport,” Dalaloyan quotes Sport24.
At the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan), Artut Dalaloyan won gold in the team all-around. It is noteworthy that in the capital of the Land of the Rising Sun he performed with a serious injury.
