Director General of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) Alexander Kogan told that the organization would take care of the issue of placing participants in hotels in the cities where the competitions take place.
Previously, videos and photographs appeared on social networks, in which participants of the Junior Grand Prix complained about living conditions in one of the hotels in Samara. Photographs showed trash and dirt in the rooms, as well as cockroaches in the rooms.
— Junior figure skaters complain about living conditions in Samara, will the FFKKR take control of this issue?
– Of course, we will try to master this. Please note that travel for juniors is the responsibility of the travel organizations, including accommodation. They can live wherever they want and pay for it. They may not have checked into this hotel,” Kogan told .
Junior competitions take place in Samara from November 15 to 17. On November 18 and 19, the city will host the adult stage of the Russian Grand Prix.
