Lviv residents agreed on cooperation with the Norwegian club
Rukh and Norwegian Brann agreed on cooperation in the sports field and assistance to the Ukrainian military. Two clubs, together with the GO “Self-Defense of Lviv Region,” donated more than 70 drones, 8 vehicles, batteries and various equipment for the front to Ukrainian artillerymen.
“Rukh has been continuously helping the Ukrainian military since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and we are glad that Norwegian partners have joined our initiative. It’s nice that our cooperation arose precisely thanks to cooperation in helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, we plan to develop our collaboration in the sports direction,” said Rukh General Director Igor Dedyshin.
“There are many fans of the Brann football club who wanted to support Ukraine. We need to fight together against the Russian occupiers, and Norway is ready to help with this. I hope that when Ukraine wins, we will be able to play against Rukh in Ukraine so that Norwegian fans can come here,” said member of the Norwegian Parliament Peter Fröhlich.
Rukh takes fifth place in the UPL. Brann ranks second in the Norwegian Elitserien.
In the early hours of February 24, 2022, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. The war against Russia has continued for the 631st day.
