Yarmolenko addressed Russian athletes and called on the Russian military to surrender (video)

A famous Ukrainian football player spoke about the “I want to live” project

Midfielder of Dynamo and Ukraine national team Andrey Yarmolenko addressed the Russian military and called for surrender according to the program “I want to live”.

“Those Russians who have a sense of self-preservation, who want to live and do not want to become cannon fodder for the Kremlin grandfather, can contact “I Want to Live.” This also applies to our fellow citizens from the occupied territories, who are forced to fight in the occupation forces. If they contact “I Want to Live,” they are guaranteed to be helped, transferred across the front line and taken into comfortable captivity in a special safe place.”

Yarmolenko also called on Russian athletes not to remain silent about the war that Russia unleashed against Ukraine, and to agitate their friends who are now fighting against Ukraine to surrender.

“Russian athletes! If you want to return to world sports, and not go to competitions in all sorts of Somalia, it will also be useful for you to at least non-publicly agitate those around you to surrender, and not go to slaughter in Ukraine. The longer you remain silent, the more likely it is that you will have to sit at home for the rest of your career, not seeing international competitions, or compete under the flag of some state 404.”

“I Want to Live” is a state project of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War with the support of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate. Created for military personnel of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, upon voluntary surrender.

Early in the morning of February 24, 2022, Russia launched rocket and air bombardments of most Ukrainian cities, and then launched a full-scale military invasion. The Russian war against Ukraine has continued for the 631st day.
