Athletistic / Figure skating. Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov visited the Kommunarka hospital. He was treated there for pneumonia.

In total, Kostomarov spent 175 days in the hospital. Against the background of an exacerbation, necrosis began. As a result, the former athlete had to amputate his feet and some of his fingers.

Zhurova suggested what former figure skater Kostomarov could do now

“Yesterday I visited the place where I was born again and spent 175 days there. I saw again these people who fought for my life. The memories came back, the emotions overflowed.. .”, wrote Kostomarov on his Telegram channel.

The former figure skater has already undergone prosthetic surgery. He’s been on the ice before, but so far only in sneakers. Kostomarov himself has already stated that he wants to get back on the skates.
