Senior coach of the Russian cross-country ski team Yuri Borodavko suggested in a conversation with a correspondent that the three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov will take part in the 15 km freestyle race at the first stage of the National Cup in Vershina Teya (Republic of Khakassia).

Bolshunov, 26, is a three-time Olympic champion, world skiathlon champion, two-time World Cup winner, two-time winner of the Tour de Ski multi-day ski race.
