Ukrainian defender Alexander Kovlyar became a Spanish player Obradoiro. Terms of the 21-year-old player’s contract were not disclosed.
Kovlyar spent the previous season in the Estonian club Kalev/Cramo. Before this, Khimik’s student performed in Tartu Ulikool. In April, the Ukrainian applied for participation in the 2023 NBA draft.
In February, Kovlyar made his debut for the Ukrainian national team in the 2023 World Cup qualifying match against Italy (75:85). On average, in matches for the national team, Alexander scored 10.4 points and 4 assists.
