Currently, in addition to Russia and Belarus, no contributions to WADA have been received from Georgia, Iceland and Monaco. Other countries have fully or partially fulfilled their financial obligations to the organization.

Previously, WADA had declared that Russia did not have the right to organize the Friendship Games. In September 2023, the WADA Executive Committee decided to deprive the Russian Anti-Doping Control Agency (RUSADA) of its full status due to the non-compliance of state legislation with the World Anti-Doping Code.
