Khase and Volodine achieved a result of 192.72 points in their short and free programs. The Italians Sara Conti and Niccolo Makii took second place (188.60), while the bronze went to the Hungarian duo Maria Pavlova/Alexei Svyatchenko (186.19).
Volodin is from St. Petersburg, he previously played for Russia and in the 2019/20 season, together with Taisiya Sobinina, he took 11th place in the Russian Championship. In May this year it became known that the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) approved Volodin’s passage under the German flag.
