The European club offered the Carpathians 1.5 million euros for Baboglo – Vatsko

Lviv also has a million-dollar offer from Poland for another summer newcomer

According to journalist Viktor Vatsko, the Lviv Carpathians there is an offer of 1.5 million euros from an unnamed European club (not from a top championship) for the defender Vladislava Baboglo.

In addition, a certain Polish club offered the Lviv residents 1 million in the same currency for another summer newcomer, whose name was not disclosed.

At the same time, it seems that the status wingers Maryan Shved and Alexei Gutsulyak will not be in the Carpathians in the near future. Regarding the first of them, there is simply no mutual interest, and it was not possible to agree on the terms of the contract with the SK Dnepr-1 player.

Let us remind you that the head coach of the Carpathians, Miron Markevich, personally spoke about interest in Shved and Gutsulyak.

Probably, in the near future, the issue of selling football players for real money will become more acute for the Lviv club in the light of new information that UEFA has recognized this entity as the legal successor of the old Carpathians with all the ensuing consequences in the form of multimillion-dollar debts.

25-year-old Baboglo moved to the Carpathians from Alexandria at the end of the summer. The transfer amount was 585 thousand euros. Vladislav played 9 matches for the Lviv club in the First League and scored one goal.

In 2023, he made his debut with the national team of Moldova and scored the winning goal against the Polish national team (3:2) as part of the 2024 European Championship qualification. In November, another accurate strike by Vladislav brought the Moldovans a draw in the match with Albania (1:1). However, already in the next match, against the Czech Republic (0:3), the Karpaty player was sent off from the field.

Previously, Baboglo played for the Ukrainian youth team (2019-2020) under the leadership of Ruslan Rotan, with whom he later worked in Alexandria.

This season, Karpaty won Group A of the First League ahead of schedule, gaining 42 points in 17 matches. The team guaranteed itself participation in the championship round in the spring. In the next match, Markevich’s team will host Ternopil Niva on November 24.
