Swimming world record holder Evgenia Chikunova showed who’s boss by winning the 50m breaststroke at the Russian Championship, her coach Vitta Novozhilova told .
The Russian Short Course Swimming Championship takes place in St. Petersburg, Chikunova’s hometown. Chikunova won the 50m distance with a result of 29.54 seconds. The Belarusian came second Alina Zmushko (29.66), third – Yulia Efimova (29.95).
