Kyiv Capitals beat Kharkov Berserkers with a big score and came close to the leading Sokol

Winning the third period was a local success for Kharkiv residents

Kyiv Capitals beat Kharkov Berserkers in a regular season match Ukrainian hockey championship with a crushing score of 9:2.

The Kiev team scored eight unanswered goals to the outsider over two periods. And they relaxed so much that they lost to the Kharkov team at the end of the third twenty-minute period alone – 1:2. Which was little consolation for the Berserkers, who suffered their fourth defeat this fall from the capital club with a total score of 4:39.

The most productive player of the meeting was Daniil Tishchenko, who scored four goals.

Having scored 26 points, the Kyiv Capitals moved one point closer to the leader, Sokol. Dnepr is 6 points behind, but has two games in hand. Kharkov Berserkers close the standings after 11 matches played.

On November 25, the two leaders will meet in the capital’s derby. The Kharkiv team will play against Kremenchug the next day.
