President of the All-Russian Swimming Federation (RSF) Vladimir Salnikov said the match meeting, if the U.S. team is interested, could take place immediately after the World Cup in Doha.
Previously, Salnikov said in an interview with that he contacted US Swimming with a corresponding proposal.
The World Championships in Doha will take place from February 2 to 18.
