Kyiv Capitals achieved a fabulous victory over Falcon in the capital’s derby, which took place as part of the next round of the regular Ukrainian Hockey Championship.
The national champion confidently took the first 20 minutes of the meeting (2:0). In the second period, goals from Chernenko and Panchenko equalized the score on the scoreboard.
The end of the match came three minutes before the siren: Berdnix’s accurate shot brought the Capitals the lead in the standings and the first ever victory over Sokol – 3:2.
The Capitals will play against Dnepr on November 29. Sokol will also play his next match with the Kherson club: the game will take place on December 3.
