Evgenia Chikunova won the 200 meter breaststroke at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships in St. Petersburg.
The 19-year-old finished with a time of 2 minutes 15.36 seconds and set the world’s best time of the season. Second place was taken by Belarusian Alina Zmushko (2:19.67), with the top three closed by three-time Olympic medalist Yulia Efimova (2:23.03). Vitalina Simonova finished fourth (2:23.63).
