Olympic cross-country ski champion Veronica Stepanova won the 10 km time trial in classic style at the first stage of the Russian Cup in Top of Töya.
Stepanova covered the distance in 29 minutes 17.6 seconds. The second result showed Anastasia Kuleshova (+28.0). Completed the first three Alina Pekletsova (+33.4).
Later on Sunday, the men will start the time trial on the Top of Töya stage.
